Started in 2020, born out of an executive networking group session, Octant was created to meet the growing demand for innovative solutions to the financial, operational, and cultural challenges faced by today’s leaders. Through our experience with executives, we’ve learned that internal culture and individual motivations are crucial to successful change management and overall organizational success. Our Philosophy
Train
On the surface, it seems like before you run, all you need to do is walk. Well, nothing is ever that simple. In truth, there are a plethora of things a child must accomplish before they run. And, even the best runners in the world, still work on their fundamentals to achieve new personal bests.
Our philosophy is not dissimilar. Before you can sell, you must learn why we sell. Or, maybe more importantly, why customers buy. With a focus on understanding the human-being behind the “buyer”, our methodology provides sales executives with a strong social foundation from which to reach their highest potential. Product knowledge and basic customer service can take a sales professional only so far. With mastery of the psychology of selling, over achieving becomes part of a sales executives portfolio, not just a pipedream.
Mentor
Most great leaders can tell you about the mentor which helped to guide them to their success. It is human nature to want to learn from those around us, and the highest achievers seek the wisdom of those who have already walked the footsteps they seek to follow. Mentoring is taking something great, and guiding it to see it’s fullest potential.

Andrew Leith – President
Andrew Leith is a pioneering business executive whose surprising journey of professional and personal growth has been propelled by the changing tides of his voyage. Growing up on a marina in Southern Ontario, Canada, Andrew learned to respect the unpredictability of life on the water and developed a deep appreciation for life’s ebb and flow. These early experiences profoundly influenced his leadership philosophy and inspired the nautical navigation principles that form the foundation of Octant Executive Advisory Group, his business and leadership development firm.
Andrew’s professional journey includes senior leadership roles for revenue organizations in the technology, software and advanced manufacturing industries where he honed his expertise in leadership and sales enablement. Working in roles that demanded innovation and adaptability, he developed strategies to empower high-performing executives and drive organizational growth. Consulting with world-leading venture capital firms, Andrew developed ground-up sales enablement strategies and methodologies for SaaS industry leaders and Fortune 500 companies. These experiences provided him with a profound understanding of how to navigate complex operational challenges while fostering collaboration and success.
Public speaking has become an important avenue from which Andrew shares his insights on inclusivity, innovation, and leadership. Whether leading intimate workshops or speaking at conferences, Andrew’s authentic and engaging style encourages audiences to think differently and embrace their unique strengths. Based on the availability of our advisors, we usually try to connect with clients as quickly as possible to assess timelines and fit. You can expect a response within 24-48 hours (if not sooner).

Our training is geared towards smaller groups, although accommodations can be made. Our Bootcamp and Pow-Wow sessions are geared to a group of 6-10 participants (minimum 6).

We offer all of our services in-person at the location of your choosing. All travel and accommodations fees are in addition to the cost of the training.
We do offer distance learning, although our clients have found that in-person provides more impactful results. The cost and content does not differ for either session.

Our training varies in price but usually translates to roughly $2500/ day. Larger bookings receive reduced rates.
Coaching and mentoring rates vary, but hourly consultations (outside of a predetermined program) are billed at $500/ hour.
